We're very excited that Tyshawn Sorey is writing a new work for the McGill/McHale Trio with the generous support of the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, to be premiered at 92Y on December 19, 2019!

New York Women Composers
This year we funded six projects, several of which combine music with other arts to attract new audiences and approach the music in creative ways. The broad geographic scope will increase awareness about women’s music with musicians around the world. The recipients will each receive $750 for the coming season.

Michele Rosewoman's  New Yor-Uba Ensemble Releases “Hallowed"

The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra continues its 47th season Oct 12 at 8 pm, at MIT Killian Hall, 160 Memorial Dr,  Cambridge MA, with wide-ranging originals by founder/music director Mark Harvey. Free.
