Music Mundana has performed in venues including Merkin Hall, Weill Hall, St. Peter’s Concert Series, and Jazz at Lincoln Center; and international festivals in Canada, Turkey, and the US. The group is getting ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2018, presenting a series of chamber music performances throughout the United States.

..superb playing on Divertimenti, the new CD from the Miller- Porfiris Duo featuring duos by Fuchs, Toch and Martinů… you would have to go a long way to hear better duet playing than this.
(They) are in great form..playing with a warm, rich tone and a clarity, spirit and brightness that serves these delightful works perfectly.

MUSICA MUNDANA was founded by Aysegul Durakoglu in 1998, based on the concept of music as an embracing harmony of all peoples and cultures in the world.  Since then the members of the society have presented programs that have taken audiences on musical journeys through various cultures.
