Duo Baltinati - cellist Ilya Finkelshteyn and pianist Lura Johnson - were 2nd Prizewinners in the 2015 International Johannes Brahms Competition, Chamber Music Division.  They were selected from a field of 77 musicians and 32 ensembles.  

Third Coast Percussion

On October 2, TCP performs mvt 2 of our CMA-commissioned work, "Resounding Earth" at the University of Central Arkansas. Free concert!

Manship Theatre

The perfromance(s) of Paquito D'Rivera and Quintet, presented with Acadiana Center for the Arts and Banners Series at McNeese University, is supported by Presenter Consortium for Jazz, a program of Chamber Music America funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

New Yor-Uba will perform a newly  commissioned work in June of 2016 at the D.C. JAZZ FESTIVAL and at the VISION FESTIVAl in NY.  


The Living Earth Show is honored to have received a 2014 CMA Classical Commissioning Grant to work with composer and vocalist Ted Hearne. The San Francisco premiere of the song cycle will take place in the spring of 2016.


World music trio, Free Planet Radio has joined forces with the Opal String Quartet for their third release "Global Symphony Project." Featured on the album is Chris Rosser's "Ecstatic Verses," a three movement piece commissioned by a grant from CMA's Classical Commissioning program.
