PRISM performs the world premiere of "Cha" by 2015 Pulitzer Prize-winner Julia Wolfe, commissioned with support from the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program. "Cha" is presented on PRISM's Wall to Wall World Premieres concerts in Philadelphia (May 22) and New York (May 23).
Duplexity is a flexible and dynamic duo, which takes the violin as its constant and combines it with a variety of musicians and performers to create a series of powerful and expressive two-person ensembles. As a collaborative concert experience, Duplexity fosters cross-cultural and cross-genre pairings.
The 2015 Techne Music Festival will feature guest artists Juliette Kang, Born Lau, and Thomas Kraines, along with faculty Timothy Schwarz, Molly Carr, and Lawence Stomberg. Artistic Director Timothy Schwarz was recently appointed Associate Professor and Head of Strings at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.
