The Rockport Chamber Music Festival 2018, the first under the artistic direction of Barry Shiffman, is June 15 to July 15, encompassing the theme—r:EVOLUTION and brings the Emerson Quartet, Cliburn winner Yekwon Sunwoo, and much more.


Sonic Forest's Chamber Music America Resdency at The Arc SF begins on World Wood Day, March 25, 2018 and ends on Earth Day April 22. What could be more apprpriate for this series of 6 events about the relationship of music to nature and nature to music including human nature!



April 15, 2018, SF: E4TT will premiere "Die Eichne Tuer" by David Garner, "Nachtlang" by Jared Redmond, "Song on the End of the World," by Stephen Eddins, plus works by Libby Larsen and Aleksandra Kaca.


April 6, 2018: Ensemble for These Times ( will release "The Hungarians: From Rozsa to Justus" on Centaur (CRC 3660) as a digital EP, with rare works by Miklos Rozsa, Gyorgy Justus, Sandor Vandor and Lajos Delej.
