Description

The Claremont Trio brings its signature blend of “passion and precision” (Boston Globe) back to Skaneateles for a program of music inspired by the people for whom it was written – Beethoven’s masterpiece, the “Archduke” Trio, for his patron and composition student Archduke Rudolph; Brahms’s Clarinet Trio for Richard Mühlfeld, who inspired the composer to come out of retirement (with Alan Kay, clarinet); and Gabriela Lena Frank’s bewitching ode to music from Perú, Folk Songs, dedicated to the Claremont Trio.
