Caramoor opens its 68th season with a revival of the Broadway classic She Loves Me, written by composer/lyricist team, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof); book by Joe Masteroff (Cabaret). First staged on Broadway 50 years ago, this delightful romantic comedy derives from the same story that inspired two memorable movies, The Shop Around the Corner and You’ve Got Mail. Caramoor’s semi-staged production will star critically-acclaimed actress Alexandra Silber, Drama Desk Award-winner Santino Fontana, Tony® Award-winner John Cullum, and Drama Desk Award-winner Montego Glover. One of the most beautiful scores in American theater will be performed by The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, conducted by Tony® Award-winner Ted Sperling, who will also direct the performance. Experience the glamour and excitement of Broadway at Caramoor.
Introduce your family to Caramoor and enjoy the sounds of the concert from the Picnic Lawns with our Al Fresco option. Note: Audience members can not see the performance from the picnic lawns.
