Enjoy a powerful range of chamber music, from Boccherini to Beethoven with Bartók in-between. Bringing the cello to prominence, Boccherini's style is characterized by Rococo charm, lightness, and optimism. The String Quartet No. 6 by Belá Bartók was the last piece he wrote in his native Hungary. Beethoven's beautiful and substantial String Quartet No. 15 will complete the afternoon's new take on classical music's "Three B's."
