Biss brings together favorite chamber music colleagues Carey Bell of the San Francisco Symphony, Scott St. John of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, and leading English tenor Mark Padmore in a program of homages. Schumann's Fantasy was originally titled Homage to Beethoven; Kurtág's tribute acknowledges his compositional debt to Schumann.
