Conservatory Connections: Light Salon 3: 2012 Stories
Ticket Information
This performance is free and open to the public
The Conservatory Connections program partners UMKC Conservatory musicians with the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The goal of the program is to combine the visual and performing arts within the spaces of the museum to offer exciting new art interactions to the public.
"Light Salon" expands the partnership with the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance’s Academy and features the talents of their award-winning faculty. Set in the dramatic, light-filled space of Lens 2, these intimate performances include music inspired by works in the museum’s collections.
This event, on December 14, 2012, features UMKC Professor of Composition Paul Rudy, who will be performing his work “2012 Stories.” Two performances will be held: the first at 6:30pm and the second at 7:30pm.
