Chamber Music America (CMA), the national network for ensemble musicians, has announced the recipients of its 2013 Presenting Jazz program, a series of grants supporting concert presenters that engage U.S.-based jazz ensembles.
Chamber Music America (CMA) has announced the recipients of its 2013 CMAcclaim Award, which recognizes organizations whose achievements in the ensemble music field have had a significant impact in their community or region.
Three ensembles and five presenters will be recognized with CMA/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming at the 35th Chamber Music America National Conference on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
CMA will distribute $450,000 to ensembles and presenters through three of its major grant programs: Residency Partnership, Classical Commissioning, and New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development.
Chamber Music America today announced the recipients of grants supporting jazz projects and performances. Approximately $285,000 will be distributed to 23 musicians and presenters.
Over $248,000 will be distributed to 20 musicians and presenters through two of CMA’s major programs: Presenting Jazz and the CMA/FACE French American Jazz Exchange.
